School Facilities Needs Assessments
Assistance with Facilities Inspection, and Rating Condition of Facilities and Building Systems with "Good, Fair, or Poor", and in Planning, Monitoring, Implementation, and obtaining Funding for Site and Facilities Modernization, Renovation, and Maintenance and Repair Needs:

  1. School Facilities Needs Assessments (including On-Site Inspections and Finalized Reports)*

  2. School Facilities Inspection System (we can assist to any degree desired)

*SFP&M conducts School Facilities Needs Assessment and Condition Assessment; the inspector thoroughly inspects each building and locates and identifies needed or critical repairs.  The SFP&M staff generates a computer-based summary of reports by building and by school which includes a building systems inventory by material type, estimated remaining useful life expectancies (cycles), and estimated needed repair costs of all major building systems.  The condition of all facilities are rated and prioritized and maintenance and repair costs are estimated based on Saylor's and RS-Means Cost Works Repair data for each deficiency for the District's Five Year Plan of Maintenance Needs or Preliminary Cost Estimate for a Modernization Project.  Hard-copies of inspector survey forms and photos of deficiencies are provided.
